Take Sita's Guided Tour!

What an intriguing series of snapshots we are treated to in Charmiene/Sita's account of her travels. It makes you want to go to India yourself with an informed itinerary thanks to Sita's guidance, she having done the hard work of discernment through her adventurous experiences! The photos and graphics she illustrates her journey with lend much to the sense of seeing these things through her eyes. I expect you'd be seeing India anew even if you'd already been there yourself. Sita's background in ethnobiology gives her the insightful ability to synthesize the lessons garnered in her travels into universally familiar observations on the Nature of Being.

Personal reflections of Traveling through India and Thailand

How much I enjoyed sitting down with this lovely little book from Charmeine Maxwell-Batten. As always, I am intrigued by her writing as she peels away layer by layer in her narrative. She has not gone into great depth in her experiences in India and Thailand. Please keep in mind this is not a travelogue meant to guide you through these countries, but it is a book of thoughts, reflections and experiences based on the times she spent there. As always, I am enchanted by how she expresses herself and her sensitivity to people and places. She is an author I watch for as she produces book after book of her experiences in life and travel. This one is a gem I will most certainly keep in my collection of favorite books.

Inspiring and Informative

A truly insightful compilation of perceptive observations! Easy to read narrations that gave me food for thought, laughter, and contemplation. The author's style has warmth and appeal. I highly recomend this book.
