Filled with Elegance, Grace and Class!

I enjoyed "Diaries from Old Egypt" very much. I read it in just two days-it was very hard to put down-a real page turner! Even though it's based on diaries and seemingly disjointed events, the book flows quite nicely and the writing is superb! The world needs more writers like this, ancient souls who can bring poetry back to popular culture and draw interest to younger readers. It was a beautiful read-I would highly recommend this!

The writing here drips of the specific space and time that the author wants to place you in, whether it's a place in her mind or in a living (or lived) Cairo. Very transporting, read it!
