About the Author
Margo Anderson became a flight attendant in March of 2000, on a whim, a suggestion from her dear friend, Pam who is a flight attendant with Delta Connection to this day. Margo has a Master of Arts in Language and Literature, and she has always kept journals; the journals she kept as a flight attendant are the basis for this memoir. During her five years of flying, she wrote in a journal almost daily, recording snapshots of the lives of flight attendants, pilots, baggage handlers, gate agents, maintenance crews, and of course, the passengers. She is also a consultant in the educational field, sings professionally, and is currently the Mayor of the town where she lives, Lynn Haven, Florida. Margo has one daughter and two granddaughters, and she is married to the love of her life, Lee Anderson, a combat veteran of the Vietnam conflict, who has four children and eleven grandchildren. Margo admires flight attendants to this day, believes that the flight attendants who work with the commuter airlines are the hardest workers in the entire airline industry, and she is delighted to see that Delta has returned to some of the earlier glamour of the flight attendants of her childhood with their newest uniforms. She and her husband Lee travel often, almost exclusively with Delta Airlines, and they enjoy spending time in the beautiful city where they were married, Key West, Florida. Margo is currently working on her second book, Tribute to Patsy Cline.

A Must Read!

I downloaded this book on the day of release and could not stop reading it. I can't remember laughing so much. I really don't like flying but this book makes you want to get on the next flight just to see what might happen! This is a must read for everyone who wonders what is happening on the plane that the rest of us know nothing about. Tell your friends about this one. I wish there were a sequel...

interesting flying anecdotes

The author tells some interesting tales. The book was repetitive at times and contains numerous typos, but is still worthy of a read for anyone who wonders about the daily life of a flight attendant. I know I have a lot of admiration for those who can do this job well.

A funny little package

This is a nice little surprise package. It is very funny; I found myself laughing out loud in several places. The author's personal experiences in the airline industry reinforces how unglamorous it has become. I would have given the book five stars except for the errors in the Kindle edition, both spelling and formatting.
