a gift to the reader

Walking into Moments is beautiful. The crystal clear writing flows, as the author takes us by hand, along with Uncle Joseph, to spend precious hours in their company. We walk with them along the winding streets, we smell the fresh fragrance of opening blossoms and listen to the whispering melody of spring colors. Each story is a gem, a gem in Indra's net, lending its light to the entire canopy of jewels. We come away enriched. I appreciate also the splendid yet discrete drawings. Wisdom in your back pocket

I read Walking into Moments in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. Sophia Tellen shares with us the wisdom of her uncle in a simple language that allows us to see and hear this remarkable man, and above all, to take in his teachings. I closed the book thinking my life would be richer, had I had the chance to meet Uncle Joseph.
