Angella Middleton is an attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her current practice focuses on representation for corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of litigation matters. Angella is a devout Christian. She volunteers as a Mock Trial coach, in non-profit leadership, music ministry. and enjoys mentoring disadvantaged youth.

An Inspirational Journey

An honest journey with both joy and detours. Angella does a beautiful job of keeping the reader engaged. This is not a "how to" book. It is a book that reveals the unpredictable journey of a determined young woman who has the passion, grit and drive to go for want she wants and authentically experience the journey, learning every step of the way. I found the book inspiring. If you like personal stories that get you pumped-up, this is probably a book you will enjoy. Angella's strong religious faith is a central theme and her generous spirit of sharing is neither dramatized nor sugar coated.

In law school, a student is frequently alone with his or her thoughts. The chaotic experience makes many aspiring attorneys to question almost everything. The intensity causes some students to thrive while others are not as fortunate. Luckily, Angella Middleton’s book shares her thoughts during her law school career to give perspective on what helped her achieve success. Whether you read a chapter about an internal struggle or a personal triumph, the stories are relate-able for to anyone no matter where they are in their lives.
As she continues on her journey, she reminds us all that success is more than a job. You have a life worth living to the fullest. As I finished, her book reminded me of one of my favorite poems. Angella most certainly took the poem's warning. Her success is the result.
First, I was dying to finish high school and start college.
And then, I was dying to finish college and start working.
And then, I was dying to marry and have children.
And then, I was dying for my children to grow old enough for school.
And then, I was dying to retire.
And now, I am dying ...
and suddenly, I realize I forgot to live ...

The intro is truth: This book is for ANYONE

The introduction and comments from the previous review are completely accurate in noting what can be had and learned by reading this book, and the allusion to the fact that this book is truly for ANYONE and not focused on law or law students at all -- which I am not.
What I personally appreciated most in this read were the strength and genuine integrity clearly shown by the author, not only in being unashamed to relay and relate the importance and involvement of her faith through all of the lessons, bur also the simple fact that the entire text is both very professional and very practical/relatable. Truly a book that could be used in many circles to convey many principles and values, I'd deem Life Lessons a must read!
