The book deals with all aspects of monetary responsibilities that many people take for granted. These responsibilities include: balancing a checkbook, understanding the value of checking and savings accounts, knowledge of maintenance and overdraft fees. The author educates the reader from an inside view about the mindset of a banking institution when dealing with its customers. She shares banking tidbits to help financially educate readers. It is an educational book on the finances of banking that will empower you to create a better monetary portfolio.A profound statement made by the author can be found in the early pages of the book. "Manage your cash flow by creating a budget plan and stick to it using discipline." I found this book to be quite helpful in view of the valuable information the author provides. "You are the person responsible for filling your life with happiness, new and exciting career options, nurturing family time, and compatible relationships because you deserve it, and that is true freedom."The author makes a philosophical point concerning the mind. "Lesson learned: The key is to change one's thought process; thereby, breaking the cycle that keeps us mentally poor. The only limitation occurs within the mind."Throughout the book are treasures of knowledge about goal setting, banking, investments, success, and establishing a legacy. This is definitely a book I would recommend to anyone suffering financial difficulties and to those looking for a mental edge concerning every facet of life in relation to economic awareness.

It took me years to develop the proper story, that sheds light on children who are left to fend for themselves in a world with strict rules that undermined the very people they are supposed to help with senseless requirements. I decided to create a memoir with a focus on finance, then added timeless treasures about banking and life lessons to aide in meeting the basics of "living on your own" for young adults and others who want to increase their knowledge of personal finance and economic literacy.
About the Author
E. N. Towner is the founder of ENTowner Build a Legacy, Inc., a nonprofit organization devoted to youth empowerment through financial education and literacy. Her aim is to bring awareness to the plight of youth aging out of foster care and providing step-by-step solutions through training programs that help with increasing self-esteem through personal development, embracing traditional values from a millennial perspective, and increasing financial literacy to share with future generations. Mrs. Towner has worked in corporate America's financial industry for over fifteen years, assisting customers with their banking needs. She earned her MBA, with a concentration in accounting and finance, in 2008, graduating with honors, just when the housing market came crumbling down, and understands the psychological and emotional aspects involved when people make financial decisions. The ENTowner Build a Legacy, Inc. team collaborates with other nonprofits, schools, and religious and financial organizations who wish to provide personal finance education and outreach to advocate for strong financial literacy. Mrs. Towner's long-term vision is to provide scholarships to youth and their caretakers to reduce the need for personal loans for secondary education, thereby reducing personal debt. A transitional housing facility for youth aging out of foster care between the ages of eighteen years to twenty-four years that introduces the necessary tools to help break the cycle of poverty by transforming their personal relationship with money-a legacy that can be passed on for generations to come.
