There's still time to write your book!

Write Your Book at 50 opens your mind to being creative, inspires you to find your uniqueness and encourages you to celebrate it all - in writing. It offers just enough of a kick to let you know that you're ultimately responsible for what you do with your life but does so very gently and from a place of understanding.
The author's discussion of finding one's voice particularly resonated with me. I'm only now beginning to realize how much I've stifled my wants and needs. Finding my voice in writing is finding my voice in life.
I love this book most because it made me feel like I still have time to accomplish the goals that I’ve put off for so long. I'd recommend it to any woman over 50 who is looking for the inspiration to find her story and tell her story. I thought the interviews with writers who have managed to succeed at publishing a book were a great part of the book and even though it’s not a how-to book, there are steps one can follow to overcome their obstacles and step onto the right path.

For all those of us who thought we might have missed the boat, this book itself is concrete proof that as a group of maturing women we just ain’t done yet! The author’s inclusive and encouraging tone assures you that it doesn’t matter whether you’ve had a high-flying career or none, you can write too.
It isn’t a how-to-write book. Rather it skilfully helps you explore what knowledge, skills or hidden abilities you do have that would be the perfect basis for a book of your own.
I recommend this book to anyone who would love to write but is still unsure whether they have what it takes. By the end of it you’ll realise that you do.
