Finding Guidance and Comfort from "God's Coincidences"

"Not by Chance: God's Coincidental" Guidance in My Life" is made up of stories from the life of Lynn Cochrane Leonard. It is the story of her spiritual journey. As I read of these "coincidents" I found myself reflecting on the similarity of God's leading in my life.
Lynn describes how a Combination of music, prayer, and visualization played a significant part in the healing process after surgery on her back that Doctors told her would leave her in a wheel chair for life. Time after time God revealed himself turbulent events and circumstances to bring Lynn through severe illnesses, depression, unbearable pain, times unemployment and desperate financial crisis.
Lynn Cochrane Leonard is a gifted communicator. Her writing is compelling, drawing the reader into experiencing, with her, light for their own spiritual journal. Inspiring, enlightening, and empowering. "Not By Chance" is a book you will want to have available to pass along to a friend who is at a place life needing encouragement and inspiration.

WOW! To me, true stories are the very best and Not By Chance by Leonard, a retired psychotherapist, rings true. Most important, we clearly see God at work in the author's life as she deals with serious illnesses, financial challenges, divorce, and major accidents. Yet throughout her journey, God signals what course Leonard should take. The "coincidental" guidance Leonard receives is breathtaking!
Not By Chance is a compelling and uplifting story told in clear, elegant prose. It is the perfect gift at any time of year for anyone who needs an emtional and spiritual "lift." Readers will find themselves looking for the "not by chance" events in their own lives.

Not By Chance: God's "Coincidental" Guidance of My Life

`A remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without apparent causal connection.' This is the dictionary's definition of the word coincidence; add God to the equation and you get miraculous moments that last a life time.
The author Ms. Leonard writes about these moments which seem like ribbons of God's love wrapping her within His plan.
This book is a biography, a story of devastation, heartache, pain, disease, love, hope, victory and dedication to one's Saviour. As I read through the pages of Ms. Leonard's life I thought how closely her life seemed to relate to that of Job in the Bible. I wondered how one woman could withstand, could live through the many horrific situations which she calls "myriad challenges" that fought to rip the very essence of her trust in God. The author stood firm in her resolve, fighting those challenges, counting on the Grace of God to help her see to the other side.
The `coincidences' of her life were many. The power and fortitude within her frail, human body could only come from one source leading her on a journey of many pathways.
Ms. Leonard had many moments of despair and like Peter reached up to grab the hand of Jesus to pull her out of the consuming waters. She often quotes favourite hymns, poems that she has written, and of course Scripture: ribbons of God's merciful love for her.
In reviewing this book I would highly recommend it as the author has been very vulnerable throughout the pages. I believe in this woman's integrity.
If your life is filled with many obstacles, as most are, then buy this book and find out how one woman whose Job like life became a beacon of light, and hope through "God's coincidences' to many. You won't be disappointed.
