The true story of Elaine Madden reads more like a work of fiction than the true account of a female SEO agent during WWII. Adventure, romance, heartbreak and happiness are all part of Elaine's story. This very readable page turner describes Elaine's escape from the violence of occupied Belgium to England where she is recruited as a secret agent to work behind enemy lines. An inspirational story that reminds me how seemingly 'ordinary' women lead extraordinary lives.
