About the Author
James Edward Howell, Jr., known as Jimmy by his friends, was born in 1934 in Virginia. He lost his dad at ten but found solace in the companionship of other family members and friends. Throughout it all, he never gave up on his belief in God.

I read this book in one sitting. It was well laid out. This author had some good times as well as some bad times in his life but always remembering the blessings of God,the love of his family and his Country.I recommend it.

Well written, inspirational and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the read, of course, the author, J. Howell, Jr. and I have been friends since our pre-teens and we are both Octogenarian, so I could be a bit prejudice.
